Gigs

We had a blast at the Farnham Maltings last Thursday. Many thanks for all of you who came to support us and also to Monica from Boogaloo Promotions and John from Blues in Britain. Katie Leone you were fabulous on Evil Eye and Coming on Too Strong. We loved sharing the bill with the amazing AJ Moore and his brilliant band with whom we also played down at the Troubadour at Earls Court on Sunday. We are excited about sharing quite a few gigs with AJ and the band over the next few months so make sure to check us out soon...

Nat

Paul Jones Paul Jones was kind enough to introduce the band on his show, February 6th. He played "Playin the Blues for You". Many thanks Paul

"you get a lot of people saying, oh yes, we're pushing the boundaries we're extending the envelope of the blues and all that sort of thing. I would say The Nat Martin Band are definitely doing that without necessarily claiming too much of it" Paul Jones, Radio 2, Feb 06, 2012

imby1Owen has just embarked on a 6 months tour around the Med and we shall miss him. However, we are lucky to have the fantastic Dave Imby joining us for quite a number of gigs. He is an awesome drummer and it will be great playing with him - man he's got the groove!

So welcome Dave...

Graeme Scott - Blues Matters (BM62)

"...undeniably funky, with harmony vocals and a tight rhythm section much like Steely Dan...Nat Martin's guitar shines through with some very tasty chops...A winner for sure. **** Guitar Techniques, August 2011

Thanks Dave...

A special thanks goes out to Dave Kilminster who took the time, despite his busy touring schedule with Roger Waters, to come and see us whenever he can. It's always great to see you.
